P.T. Anderson's Lynchian remake of The Big Lebowski in Hunter S. Thompson's L.A. fever dream. I would probably have to watch it 9 more times to figure out what happened, and I'm not going to do that. Written by Thomas Pynchon, so the lunacy is on brand.

I wrote the sentence above right after watching it. Trying to write a summary three weeks later, I can't remember even one single thing about the film or its plot. Benecio del Toro was in it? Neat! Martin Short was in it?? Wild. Even Omar from The Wire was there, that's amazing.

There's a boat, and Owen Wilson wants to escape from some undercover gig, and The Dude Joaquin Phoenix is a P.I. working with a Twin Peaks-y detective who eats chocolate-dipped bananas. I guess.

I think I'll watch The Big Lebowski.
