A highly pornographic The Story of O sequel, with Klaus Kinski as the bizarre casting choice of the year, possibly decade. We have to see him aggressively naked several times, and I swear he sees us back. I'm tempted to tag this one as "horror", and just in time for SHOCKtober.

it zooms out, dear reader. it zooms out.

Klaus has taken O to China where he forces her to work in a brothel while he sluts around town and makes illicit deals with local mafia men. O is all sad and dejected and introspective, but will do anything Klaus wants because that's the point of this dom/sub fetish.

her main job is to pout

The other residents of the brothel all have awful lives and tell each other dreamy tales of despair and desire, and pianos at the bottoms of rivers. Unlike O, they aren't there because a particular rich guy is toying with them, though I suppose it's still rich guys at the root of their problems.

the brothel regulars don't look like rich guys

Klaus's business affairs take a turn for the worse, and a gang of anti-European revolutionaries start making mischief on the side. It's uninteresting at best, bordering on incomprehensible.

Klaus also has a girlfriend who doesn't care for O

A young neighbor boy, who is also one of the revolutionaries, spots O through her window and goes all Sweeney Todd, deciding to steal her. Klaus doesn't mind everybody in town sleeping with her for money, but he's not about to put up with somebody sleeping with her with compassion. Some lines cannot be crossed.

it's a tragedy for all, but most of all for the viewers

All of the actors are awful, and the script is awful, and the delivery is awful, and the sound is awful. The sets and costumes, however, are quite lovely, and some of the porn scenes are joyously visually comedic.

I'm not sure who they're making fun of, but they're making fun of someone
