Enid works for the British film censorship board in a 1980s that dreams of being the 1950s.

All of the lamps are reddish.

She painstakingly watches every one of the movies on this blog, calls them smut, and rates them unfit for human viewing. Fair.

That's no reason not to watch them.

Her sister disappeared long ago, and Enid has recurring visions about the night she vanished.

This is just the plot of The X-Files.

She reviews a film that reminds her very much of her sister's disappearance, and thinks the lead actress has a striking resemblance to her missing sister.

They take place in the same trailer.

She tries to find out more about the director and production company, eventually ending up at the home of the director, Tyres.

Pack your party bags people because tonight's gonna be a large one.

Now with a somewhat tenuous grasp on reality, she wanders into the middle of the shoot for the film's sequel, where she is presumed to be the main actress and put into costume.

It's not the sort of gig where you need to know your lines.

She saves her sister from danger.

More or less.

And they all live happily ever after.

More or less.
